Subject: Clothes dryer

Earlville, NY
I have a kenmoor dryer that has burned up drive belts. I'm no technician but I've fixed plenty of simple appliance issues before but I'm stumped. Something is binding the drum; it turns but put a few pieces of clothes in or just put your hand on drum and it stops turning. Motor pulley still going till it burns up belt. New belt same issue. Rollers are fine, belt tensioner is new. Only thing i can think of is that felt liner that the drum rides around on the door side. It doesn't look bad but it doesn't look great. Could that be causing enough friction to stop drum? Can't find any evidence of binding anywhere else.
