Rice County, MN | I had my oldest grand-daughter tongue-tied one evening because I told her she couldn't say the word "like" unless she used it in the proper context.
She's a teacher now and credits grandpa with breaking that habit for her. She never forgot that evening and caught herself a number of times before loosing the habit.
Teachers, especially English ones, should be held to a higher language standard.
