Northeast Missouri | > And the online is very expensive if you you don’t need all the features
True, and it is not "QuickBooks" in the sense expected by anyone who has used QuickBooks desktop for very long. QuickBooks is a brand, not a product. Intuit uses that brand for QuickBooks Online just as it did for QuickBooks desktop editions but they are very different products.
I tried and hated QuickBooks Online and went with a product called ZarMoney for $20/month for 2 users. The more I use it the more I like it, with only a few rough edges--but none as "rough" as paying what Intuit charges per month for QuickBooks Online, just to get the version that handles inventories. I needed inventory features for resale livestock, but I also use them for keeping a detailed fixed asset list that includes having fixed asset purchase/sale records integrated with my accounting records, for income tax purposes.
If you end up having to look at using an online accounting product, I suggest looking around at what else is out there. A lot of people are happier with some QuickBooks Online alternatives. |
