I'm pretty sure I've been told if you're rolling through it in a rotation and not forcing them to eat everything that it's fine. Where it's a problem is when they've eaten all the leaves and are down to stems and heads. Sure, they'll eat heads too when first turned in, but won't eat enough to be a problem. I'm just a guy on the internet, use your own judgement.
