We live without cell reception and the old copper wire was good until recently. Now ATT wants to quit the copper wire service. WiFi is not so reliable that I want that as my only way to call 911. We have never had caller id, so we get lots of spam calls. Sometimes let the machine answer. Or some times I see how pissed I can get O'l Spammy.

Just pick it up and don't say anything. About 80 % of the time it is AI, and I just hang it up. The rest are real live kind of but not really a English speaking people. Most wanting to sell life insurance to cover funeral expenses. In the wrong frame of mind I will play them with fake name and address. When they start thinking they have a sucker. I tell them what I really think of them and hang up.

But soon it will be time to upgrade WiFi to the most reliable and do phone from or with WiFi.
