Sounds like the shop maybe has some internal problems for one. I'm going to be the bad guy here but here goes... You supplied the parts that were wrong so that's on you, not them. And then telling them where they need to get their parts from. You even said the parts supplier you wanted them to use is slow. Then when there's a warranty issue who eats the labor? If you supplied the parts then the warranty is on you, which nobody ever likes to hear. Those things combined with the fact that they're not making any markup on the parts is why no shops let anyone supply their own parts. Then factor in the customer constantly stopping in to tell them how to fix it and wanting to help. Also sounds like you added a bunch of stuff, like the windows, that were not part of the initial repair. That messes up their scheduling so it has to be worked in when it can which takes longer. You should've told them you have high expectations, stuck to the agreed repairs, let them do their job, and inspected it when its done to make sure it passes your approval.
