| My wife had taken her 1999' Oldsmobile in dealership for work. They dropped it off lift and punched a hole in body right below driver's door. We didn't know it happened until about close to a month later. You had to get back a long distance to see it. So I never approached dealership. Just took it to bodyshop left it for a week and asked that it be fixed right.
Called at end of week said it was done, caught ride into town to pick it up. All they did was fill hole with spray foam! I was pissed to say the least. Told them to fix it right, week later picked it up and looked good. Took care to over 400,000 miles when we sold it. That spot never rusted out, and still matched.
I've been real lucky with body shops, only dealt with 6 in my life. The current one we use is a real master with anything we take him. From tractors to Toyotas. | |
