A neighbor once told me that a drought will scare you and a flood will get you. There is some truth it that.
That is true.
I know it's been debated on NAT before, but I would rather have too much than not enough rain.
I think we (still) have a tremendous crop here. I know there is damage, but not as much as I have seen before in the bottoms.
The highest amounts of rain were here and south of us. When they get hammered north of here, the creeks are higher here.
I'm sure the farther south you travel, the worse it will be.
I also know some harvest problems have been created.......The picture is from years ago, but all the beans that have been underwater made me remember it. You never know what is hiding in dirt-covered beans.
