Our last couple of phones I have set up so that there are specific ringtones for the people that we absolutely must answer a call.......sons, d-i-l, grandkids, and my mother till she passed. Both our boys have ringtones that ID them each specifically wherever the phone may be located, as does d-i-l. Grandkids are all "Your grand-son/daughter is attempting to reach you on your cellular device".... just cutesy little beepers that we don't ignore. Everybody else is regular ringtone, we can answer if it's convenient or return a call later if it isn't. We ignore a lot of calls, block a few, and return a call when it works for us. The concept that we pay money for a device that puts us at the whim of a marketer isn't something we want to work with.
