Lancaster County, Pa. | We were with Medishare for a number of years. When we first signed up with Medishare the deal was that they were supposed to work directly with the medical facility. The problem came to be that the local medical facilities did not want to work with them, and I fully understand why. We had a claim last year (hernia surgery) and it took almost a year and dozens of phone calls to actually get our money from them. It was ridiculous. I would not ever recommend Medishare. We moved to CHM (Christian Healthcare Ministries), we have not actually had to use it yet but we have several friends who have had very good experiences with them. With CHM you are self-pay and then you get reimbursed. | |
