That is how I did our s680, removed the concaves and grates, pulled all the rotor tines off, took the front all apart and removed the rotor. It did not have the high wear package so the rails were worn through on both sides. Cut the holes out bigger and welded in new metal, then installed all the high wear parts from JD, they cover the rails.
