I think it is a swamp oak. Planed several years now. Never really took off growing like the other swamp oak. I see 6 to 8 holes in the side of the tree and granular around the base.
Can it be saved? What is the problem?
We are low on iron in my area. I have added iron around the tree last year, but not this year. After iron applied the branch grows upward, not down ward.
