| Monthly share has essentially doubled from when we started. Now “paying” $750 ish per month…20 % of that increase based on aging and 80% based on cost increase.
Cost increases are voted on my members. Months ebb and flow in terms of excess bills or excess shares. They will bank the excess shares and use in months of excess bills. Frankly remarkable to watch how close Bills = shares on a monthly basis.
In our ten years there was a period where bills were higher month after month. This was a period where the healthcare industry was raising prices almost monthly.
Our bills were prorated down 2%…So we ate the 2%. About 6 months later they were back to a good balance and we received the 2% which they had no obligation to “refund”.
Have never experienced slow payouts and someone always answers the phone promptly. They communicate easily and quickly with email as well. Our initial Chemo treatments were $99,000. After we started asking questions we got it down to $25000….simply by shifting drugs from IV to pill form and going to a different local
Hospital. Absolutely nuts
