Growing grass can be hit or miss. Depends on the supply and demand for it. I would guess in northern mn you would be looking at more cool season species. I would give agassiz a call or millborns. They have growers but might be looking for other growers of certain species. A lot of the native grasses are grown on 40 inch rows and cultivated to keep production higher.
