Subject: RE: Hydraulic cylinder? Update and new question

South Central Indiana
If you can hold the other end we use a 5' pipe wrench, rosebud torch and hook a lifting strap to out Lull 944 forklift. It has the ability to pull or push in a straight line. Strap handle to forklift mast and put pressure on it. Not a lot but enough to scare you. Get that nut as red hot as possible and then leave it on there for 5 more minutes. Clear the area and pull the hydraulic lever. Something will give. Today is my son's last day as a intern for a Case construction dealer. He leaves for Iowa State Monday. He has seen the machine shop at that dealer take apart some big cylinders. Brute force and heat.
