Im surprised you still have that system on that combine. I know right in that time somewhere they put the shiftable system on. In my opinion the weakest link on that whole combine. I take care of my snowmobile system the best I can and do not push the head too hard, but the variable speed system is under extreme stress and I don't have a chopping head. Expect issues.
