Has the cost per unit went up significantly over the 10 years?
There is strength in numbers and things tend to average out over time. How do they handle a month of above trendline expenses? I see they have a fund that somewhat acts as capital reserve fund, but if they don't have enough allocatable resources do they pay less than 100% of approved requests, ask for additional sharing from members, or slow payouts as new money arrives?
I think health sharing has its place and like the idea of reimbursement so people take accountability for costs and their care. | |
