coast of Maine | Here,ALL fields are surrounded by not just trees but massive forests.I once ignored the clean up of a blow down,I just shoved it aside with a loader. In a few weeks time the younger trees I shoved the dead tree onto lifted that tree up at the top(4 inch thick stub)so it was about 6 ft high.I come along spraying looking out into the sun.The stub entered the cab thru the windshield as I was moving and with less than an inch to spare before it pierced my chest,the brakes stopped my death.Trees have nearly killed me several times.Clean them up. | |
