Earlville, NY | New Holland T8 mowing today. Started getting warnings for low voltage, after half hour it was down to 9v before dying. Assumed it was alternator picked up new one and changed it. Tractor started after charging batteries while changing the alternator. Now it immediately squawked and said SCR failure, engine de-rated. Won't move at all. It's got fluid; we tried unhooking batteries for a few minutes didn't help. It's our first def tractor, wonder if maybe a pump went bad, caused electric issue then scr failure? Will call service in the morning unless someone had ideas for a fix. | |
