Central ND | It must have been some engineers pipe dream to think that the chopper knives of the Case combines would lift up into fully engaged position with the handle and NOT need to be cleaned out from the back of the combine first after doing corn or anything where they are dropped down. Sure the handle is nice to drop them but what goes down must also come back up sometimes. (insert palm face here) and it needs cleaning out first though and it packs in there pretty tight..
At least on my 1480 and 1680 you just drop them fully off the pan and they clean out easily and quickly and you just reinstall them instead if fiddling around on top the sieves to clean them out.
