My son, at three, was treating them like models. He was always wanting the very intricate cranes and bulldozers and trucks. We would set down and put them together and they usually got set on the shelf after that. He regifted them to his younger cousins when he was an early teenager. Man I wish he still had some of those around.
What is too young for real Lego's?
