Since I have found few useful uses for a flex head ratchet, one thing I hate about them is that they don't lock, so the few times I DO want to use a flex head ratchet, I DO like the fact that mine lock where I put them and don't flop around all the time.
It's just the way I have been wrenching, I know a lot of guys really like flex heads.
I love my flex head for automotive work. Really confined spaces and reach probably makes locking impractical alof of the times. Always reach for the flex first unless its just really easy to get at, and then I'll use the fixed. Just not sure of the situations where locking would be a major benifit. |
