We had Medi Share for a few years until I got in full time with USPS and got health insurance benefits through them. One thing is they start out at a low rate and then jack it up like crazy every time someone on the policy has a birthday. The other thing is they can refuse to pay for any reason such as getting into an accident and you aren't wearing your seat belt, etc. Samaritans might be OK, I wish we had tried them instead of Medi Share. I know I sure wouldn't don't recommend Medi Share even though we had no claims. It's also next to impossible to talk to anyone at Medi Share without an hour or more holding on the phone. |
