Subject: RE: Removing nails from steel siding

NW Ohio,near Findlay
Tip, don't mess with clipping nails, too dangerous roof can give way, you fall. This happened with Amish crew, man died.
We had torn many barns down with steel siding and roofs with excavators. We just rip it off, jam it in a dumpster, not pretty, but works. Standing seam roofs are harder to pull apart, but takes longer.
We did redo a roof with lead headed nails. We used claw head pullers, pried nail out, used a block of wood, not to damage roof.
