I don't think it's a big leap for a guy with this sort of unrestrained temper to shoot your wife if she cut him off taking an exit from the highway because his vehicle was in her blind spot behind a mirror or corner post.
I've talked to a lot of farmers and a lot of aviators. Several that check both boxes. Despite what you may see from BS Hollywood (and what some of the aviators themselves joke about) I'd estimate the aviators have more humility and less ego than the farmers, writ large.
No fighter pilot wants to fly with an arrogant flight lead who blames everybody else for what goes wrong. No bomber crewman wants to fly with a jackass like Bud Holland who killed his crew showboating (after several crewmen refused to fly with him anymore) for no reason except his own ego. Nobody wants to fly with somebody like the KLM captain who told everybody else to shut up and caused the worst aviation disaster in history in the fog at Tenerife.
You might just try having more grasp of aviation before ranting so much.
