swohio | You kinda learn on the fly. I did that as I grew in my 20's ( before kids ), I started to see more of how I was bought up. Dad taught me a lot, working on almost anything, hunting, and the biggest was fishing. My Mom was a great cook and housekeeper, so learned a lot from her. Biggest mistake my parents made was my younger sister, the older she got the more disrespectful she was. Started in 9th grade. She got let off the hook a lot. Today she's 65 and married 3 times, several other failed deals. I don't want anything to do with her. When we brought our daughter home from the hospital, told my wife she wasn't going to be brought up like my sister. It's a tough job, but all three of our kids and the two daughter in laws get along great. Quick note about 4H, kids did that and FFA, best thing going, we helped with projects, but very little, they had to learn a lot on there own, our fair times for the most part were great, don't get me started about other parents at the fair, most were great, but! Should have added, my Mom and wife's Mom both were stay at home Moms, so was mine. For us that was huge. Another not easy deal but we made it work.
