| Yeah, we are all going to screw up our kids somehow and like you said sometimes we take the opposite style as our parents. I wasn't allowed to have a video game, no big deal, fast forward to these days and all kids have them, mine included. Now I would have had the rule of only 30 minutes of video game a day/weekend or something similar. When my kids got a video game with 1 game I made no restrictions because I knew they would get bored with it soon enough and then go do other things. These days kids can find games on line so my strategy wouldn't work so well. | |
