Parents always have to make up for their previous mistakes on that last one. And in doing that, they wind up making the biggest mistake of them all. To a point I've always thought young parents just winging it and learning how to parent on the fly made for normal offspring. Older wiser parents tend to screw their kids up. Perhaps screw them up is a little harsh, but more so they raise their kids to be different than most of the others they are having to be around and grow up with. That in turn makes them the odd children in a group.

If you think about other kids you grew up with I think you'll understand my point. Unless you were the odd one! Then at least now you realize you can blame your parents. LOL
