Amherst WI | Different kids need different approaches IMO. Some kids will just take charge and others won't lift a finger until they are told to, sometimes several times.
I think both of my parents left a lot to be desired, mom was so busy trying to save her family she forgot she had another family she made. Dad didn't seem to interested in much of anything I had any interest in so looking back he seemed very absent. Maybe I am forgetting something but I never remember my dad at a single softball game, farm toy show, dairy show or fair pig show/sale.
I was more connected with several of the farmers who I worked for growing up than my own dad. | |
