Wisconsin | No great solution for silicone, you can try a deck screw, or aluminum foil wrapped around the liquid silicone. Then cut the tip back further and use that same screw chucked in a drill to clear the dried caulk out of the tube. Hardening is a different issue from expiring, expired silicone won't cure, so do a test before using an expired tube on a larger project.
Dynaflex 230 is the only acrylic caulk to use where it matters. Keeps well too. But skins over fast and drags if you're not quick. | |
