swMN | Just went to urologist this morning in Sioux falls, PSA went up to 19 so he suggested removal, I'm going to get a second opinion hopefully at Mayo, will talk to my regular PA and see if I can get a referral, hoping I can do proton or photon laser therapy instead, according to the pet scan in May the spot had not spread or grown from the MRI back in November but he thinks it must be because of rising PSA. I asked for another MRI and he said not till I agree to surgery, so he can see what he's aiming for during robotic assisted surgery, so I don't know if the Ivermectin and Fenbendazol are doing what I hoped for. Today he finally said I should try hormone therapy to lower my testosterone, that alone can shrink or stop the growth don't know why he didn't suggest that in February. So for now I'm waiting till next week to try to get to Mayo. | |
