At this point there are a lot of older, smaller drones on the market for cheap. Generators and such will cost a bit, but you don't need as many acres to pay for it.
It will also depend on if you have time to get it done. A drone is nice but if it's not in the air then it's not doing you any good. There are some things I hire just because I don't have time to do it all.
