Yesterday I called a warehouse club store and got the meat department.  I requested they cut 15 pounds of steak into approximately 8 oz pieces and package them.  They aren't equipped to do that exactly but they would try and make each piece 8 oz and then package them in packs of 4.  They'd have them ready today.  They took my phone number and name, didn't need credit card or warehouse id.  Got there this morning and they were ready and they looked as though they did get those steaks close to 8 oz and nicely packaged.

Yesterday stopped at Dunkin Doughnuts to get a treat.  I've been past there many times and never stopped but as it was next to Whitey's ice cream where I was given an over flowing chocolate shake I thought today's the day.  I got a filled doughnut from a nice young lady and left.  When I took it out to eat it I discovered she gave me 2 !

And today at Menards I wanted to get water softener salt.  I was certain that the salt I wanted was $7.99 but it rang up $9.29.  Wanda said you probably saw the price after rebate.  I said I remember numbers pretty good and I'm certain the online price was $7.99.  Finally after some back and forth she said go back there by the restrooms and look at that salt.  It's not Morton though.  I said I don't know if what I was looking at was Morton, only that it takes rust out.  So, . . . yep back far from the salt by the door and at the end of all the checkouts there's the $7.99 rust out salt.  Wanda was very nice the whole time and obviously helpful.

Question, why does every store have several people offering to help me load little 40 pound bags of salt but not one of them are willing to come home with me and carry them down the steps into the basement. :-))   Same with wood.
