Subject: RE: Salsa Recipes

West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12
The guy lives by Wadena, MN, my wife and I met him while having supper at the Drastic Measures Brewery in Wadena (good beer, smash burgers, and bone in wings) one evening early this spring...we met the guy in the grocery store parking lot the next morning and wound up spending a couple hundred bucks by the time we were done. He told us that he's at the point in life where he should make a decision to go through the whole USDA thing and "get serious" about retail marketing his brand or be happy with where he's at. He does not ship.

It's my understanding that he sells his stuff at the Wadena Farmers Market and other area events. My wife and I hope to make a trip back there soon to return our empty salsa and pickle jars for full ones and restock my hot sauce supply...he has canned/crunchy/smoked pickles in a variety of flavors and spiciness that are pretty darn good too. September 19th is the Wadena Salsa Fest. That's probably when my wife and I will make the trip to resupply.

I like the two maple leaf (medium) hot sauce the best. I do have one unopened bottle of three maple leaf (hot) hot sauce I would part with...it's pretty hot. The e-mail in my profile is good.
