T Mobile won't release the number....
I know nothing about T-Mobile's resellers, but I would go to a company owned T-Mobile store in a larger city, and speak to the store manager.

I'm using T-Mobile, VZW, and AT&T, and VZW/T-Mobile works OK, but AT&T sucks unless on higher elevations.
On her cellphone, can this be done outdoors (away from WiFi) with one bar showing:
