I live in Cape Girardeau and travel through and haul soybeans to Cairo regularly,very easy drive to Cape for very nice places to stay ,casino in cape has brand new hotel and is nice , flat straight road from Cairo to Cape and if your interested in river looks , Cape has the river campus with very interesting information right by the bridge.
