NE WI | Is the tractor throwing any codes? If it shows a book icon in the lower right display that means it’s throwing codes. Need to go to mode 2 to show codes. Mode 10 is transmission clutch cal. Mode 11 is 3 pt cal.
I’d check mode 10 and check the clutch cal numbers. Anything close to 99 and it’s getting close to wore out on that clutch pack. These Funk transmissions are pricey to fix. They put a reman one in our 8970 a few years before we bought it in 2012 for a little north of $29k. It lived its later life on a big square baler and the tech stated the surge load of the baler is hard on these tractors.
If it has supersteer look under by the pivot. If it’s hanging down ready to cut off the front drive shaft just walk away.
