I have a 8670 with supersteer and a 3895 self leveling loader. I load 2- 4x6 round bales at ~2500lbs combined plus a 1700lb grapple bucket. On ice/snow it’s great. Dirt, especially soft it’s plenty of weight on the front end for steering. I wouldn’t want anymore weight on the front.
3rd gear is actually 1st gear in reverse. The 3pt might just need to be “captured” to work
