A few months ago I asked for help with a battery problem on my 835R gator. It would not hold a charge even when running it fairly often. If it sat for a day or longer forget it. One person suggested checking the grounds and since I had the battery out to have it checked, which is no small task, I seemed to have fixed the problem. The grounds rely on the new threads cut into the frame, but these are done after the frame is painted or dipped, whatever the case. So I ground off the coating, cleaned everything as best I could, and installed new bolts after cleaning the threads and the problem seems to be fixed.
