Thanks for the reply Chris. I was really hoping you’d say something like “turn it this way while pulling that way and it’ll slide right out”!! I wish the design team on that would have added a few inches somewhere.
They did on the Class 7 and 8 with the 7 cylinder engine. They tried to make the combine engine easier to work on by hanging everything off the sides instead of on top like some of the tractors, but made some of the "simple" projects very hard by doing it that way.Trust me, we tell them about it, and I think we will see if get better sometime, but that doesn't help machines in the fieldChris
I may be in the market for a S9 series in 5 to 10 years. The way I am reading this, does this mean the S97 and S98 are easier to access the starter since they have the 7 cylinder engine? Any other service advantages (or disadvantages) to the S97 and S98?
