| I run most of the time at a 45 degree angle. It allows me to choose which direction the wind is coming from so that when I load the cart, she is not getting my dust. I've even changed angle from day to day because the wind changed direction overnight.
I find for me that an angle that extreme is easiest to pick up lodged beans in both directions more than a shallow angle.
My wife is able to follow in my tracks and usually doesn't have too much trouble finding her line.
We tried GPS several years ago, but the combine and cart never could get on the "same" line, it seemed even though both struck an A+ line at the same starting point and same angle in degrees, they always seemed off by the other end of the field so we gave up. | |
