Jeffersonville, OH | IH was once the largest volume Ag manufacturer in the country, and by the end they went the same way as every other American Ag manufacturer EXCEPT Deere...sold out and merged with someone else. Not a Deere fan by any means, but apparently it didn't matter how many million they built if it wasn't profitable enough...
I grew up running an 806 in a very different capacity than you all. That was our big loader at the shop, 806 Wheatland Tricycle with long axles so you could hang ALL the weights on the back. I think it had 28 half IH weights on it. Had a big A-frame type loader, with a 3 stage dump truck cylinder mounted at the grille of the tractor. If you lifted too much weight with the first stage, it had the capacity to blow both 10 ply 16" truck tires we ran on the front (at 120psi) and would peel the beads back on the rim so far you had to torch them off to get to the lug nuts. It was quite the unit.
I've seen similar loaders on 5010 Deere's, G1000 or similar Molines, and other IH's over the years
