Had a 2520 that kind of acted that way. The shop manual has detailed adjustment procedures that I followed. In my case, there was a plug in the housing - right side - that you could remove and in the housing was a 9/16" bolt that could be adjusted that took care of the issue. Just want to tape or weld the socket on, though. Really need a shop manual, to complete all the steps to adjust it.
