| Your dad sounds like a real piece of work, unfortunately. You need to arrange a sit down with your wife and mom at the table also, with a neutral mediator. Get some things ironed out now. And in writing. If it’s gonna be an oral agreement, have the video recorder going. Some states won’t honor oral agreements no matter what. Be prepared to walk away. Just be glad you’re not 59 when it blows up.
