Southern Missouri | Just no telling how many hours spent on an 806 doing everything on a soybean corn and cotton farm as a youngster, dad had a 806 and a 706 gas and two Ms , older brother started farming with dad and he bought an 806 that a neighbor had bought new and put an air conditioned cab on and then decided to sell it , as soon as my brother got it another neighbor wanted to put a cab on his 806 and my brother sold the cab off his tractor before I ever got to try it out . Summer time was pulling a 6 yd Ashland dirt scoop with a 5 yd Reynolds dirt bucket hooked behind it pulled by the 806 ,on ground that had been in wheat and then laid out in summer to put to grade . I learned a lot through doing that and watching the farm office guys come to the farm and survey a field and create a cut sheet and then me taking that 806 and buckets and move all that dirt around , I could make the black smoke roll pulling those buckets | |
