| #3 in that connector is what my white wire is. I have 12V there all the time. The brown wire I never get power on, and the alternator does not charge. If I put 12V to it, the alternator charges. I purchased the technical manual as well, and 240-05-14 shows the engine harness diagram. It shows the #2 position on the alternator (which should be brown wire) and the large alternator output wire going to the same stud on the starter circuit relay (labeled R8). Where the heck does that brown wire go to get keyed power? Does it not go to the bulkhead?
