Subject: RE: Mowing Grass With The Dew

western NY
I spent most of my life thinking it was a given that you should not try to mow wet grass for various reasons.

My son started a lawn mowing business a few years ago and he's doing over 80 lawns. He stops for nothing and mows in the pouring rain if necessary. Does a great job. He scoffs at my JD zero turn [I thought it was great]. He mows with Scags and Ferris mowers [commercial rigs with higher HP]. He replaces the flapper on the deck with a manual one he can drop when he's near a building.

So it just goes to show, you can teach an old dog [me] a new trick.
