500 kv tower was 1/4 mile from house growing up. Farmed around and under these lines for decades. Transmission line had no effect on hogs raised near it. No effects on any family members. GPS is not affected in any way farming under lines. Crop dusters easily fly underneath transmission lines. Only drawback is AM radio turns to static when driving tractor under lines.
