Ladies and Gentlemen,  I discovered a acceptable way to clean off the hairs.  Finished mowing grass and blew the lawn mower off.   Hose was sill laying there when I went and picked sweet corn.   Shucked the corn on the pickup tailgate.  Grabbed the air nozzle and started blowing on the ears.  Was pleasantly surprised. Doesn't take it all but good enough for me and fast. Few short pieces left. Most of whatever was left fell off in the boiling process.

Just a simple pistol grip nozzle on a 2 HP single stage Castair.
