Embarrass WI | I’ve told this story before.
My Dad was 67 and I was 29-3/4 when I sat down at the kitchen table with him and said that I thought it was time. If it was going to happen, we needed to make it happen. He looked me in the eye and said “Piss on you”.
I was expecting a response like that, but it was a good thing to have certainty.
Over the years I’ve seen too many times where “the kid” is almost retirement age and the old guy is still pulling the strings and I was not going to let that happen to me. | |
